Unofficially titled "Ghost Game" Oct. 31, Halloween 2011
I just read about this game literally seconds ago and I couldn't wait to write about it. This is a game slated for an October 2012 release on PSN and XBLA and I don't know if I can wait that long.
It is about a ghost hunter who is locked in an apartment building that used to be a luxury hotel. The place is haunted and you basically have to figure out the history of the place and the stories of the ghosts to progress through the game.
You use items like EMF detectors to see if there is a ghost nearby and video cameras with night vision to actually see the ghost or maybe just a black mass or shadow. You pretty much use the exact same equipment as a real ghost hunter.
The game looks to be extremely creepy and has several ghosts to uncover and investigate and the events happen at different and random times each time you play the game so no two play throughs will be the same. There is no life bar in the game so you can not die. However you can run out of batteries and you must return to a main area to recharge your batteries and restock on equipment.
This game sounds like it could be amazingly awesome and it seems the only down side the game has is....I have to wait a whole freakin' year before I can play it!

Warner Bro's Doing Mortal Kombat Remake 10/02/2011
After the huge success of the Mortal Kombat Rebirth trailer and the Mortal Kombat Legacy web series directed by Kevin Tancharoen, Warner Bro's Pictures decided to move ahead with the remake.
Kevin Tancharoen is to direct the remake of the 1995 adaptation of this 90's brutal fighting game. Although that movie was ok a lot of people didn't like it and it very loosely followed the Mortal Kombat story and its sequel, although it had some more characters, was an utter failure.
Oren Uziel the writer of the web short has been hired to also write the upcoming remake of Mortal Kombat!

Hatchet 3 director is revealed! 10/02/2011
I am a little late with this news, but on September 30th the name of the director of Hatchet 3 was revealed by Adam Green, the writer and director of the first 2 Hatchet films.
The man behind the camera in the first 2 Hatchet films, BJ Mcdonnel, is to sit down in the directors chair for the first time and direct Hatchet 3.
Adam Green will be working closely with BJ Mcdonnel as producer and will probably still be writing Hatchet 3 and it is set to take place directly after the events of Hatchet 2.

31 Days of Halloween Horror Movies 10/02/2011
All this month until Halloween I am going to try and watch at least 1 horror movie a day and review it under the Movie Reviews section of Horrorography. (Bear with me if I miss a day or two. I have been trying to level up my character on Dead Island lol.) I watched The Howling Reborn yesterday. Check out the review!
The Mighty Death Pop! 9/29/2011
The wicked shit rappers known as the Insane Clown Posse (ICP) have released the name of their second jokers card of the new 6 jokers cards that are to come. (Bang! Pow! Boom! being the first). The Mighty Death Pop!
This is probably not brand new news, but I just heard of it, which is surprising because I am a pretty damn big Juggalo myself.
This is the 3rd ICP album to be released since Mike E. Clarks return to Psychopathic Records, and like all the other Jokers cards before it. It will kick ass. It is due to be released sometime in 2012. I can't freakin wait!

Zombie eXs 9/18/2011
Recently a friend of mine joined the crew of a zombedy (zombie comedy) horror. It is due out next year. Last night they did some filming in Zionsville, PA. I can't say where or what they were filming there, but all I can say is that filming was done. lol.
The movie is written by Jean Cohen and George Smith and directed by George Smith. Starring : Alex Hammel-Shaver as Zach, Madison Hart as Lilly, Scott Keebler as Dan, Kendall Valerio as Felecia, Brandy Bryant as Irene, Gabrielle Martinez as Jolene, Lisa Paone as Debbie, Jessica Sullivan as Monica, Kaylea Ruppel as Alice, and Danielle Rothman as 6 Shooter Shelly. the film is due out sometime next year.
"Meet Zach. Nice guy. Terrible taste in women. They leave him but they never forget him. He's heading into the next bad break-up when the newest fad in H20 drinks starts turning ex-girlfriends into zombies who have one idea, getting back together with Zach. Three friends have to stop the ex's and save the world." BREAKING UP JUST GOT HARDER TO DO!

Hatchet 3 has a director!
Adam Green has finally chosen a director for his second sequel to his old school American horror hit Hatchet. Say that three times fast.
Hatchet has become one of my favorite slasher series' and I loved Hatchet 2, thought it even felt more like an 80's slasher than the first one. Even down to the little details like Marybeth's 'Twisted Sister' T-shirt. I still don't get why a lot of people crap on that movie.
Anyway, during and interview with Adam Green by Bleeding Cool he had this to say.
"I hope everyone is excited because he was the right person for it. It’s not a name that everyone’s going to know, but when you hear who it is I think you’ll understand why I made the choice I did. What I can say is that he was my first choice all along, even when it came time to do the second one, at a certain point they wanted to do the second one and they didn’t want to wait for me, and this was the guy that I thought should do it. He’s been part of the 'Hatchet' family the whole way, and I will tease just by saying that he was there for everything. He’s the type of guy, he works on a lot of big movies, and if he’s wearing his 'Hatchet' crew shirt, and if the guy on the crew for, like 'Transformers' or whatever tries to talk shit, he physically beats the shit out of him. I’m going to be with him the whole way, I’m going to be by the camera the whole time, protecting him, helping him, and I hope it’s the best 'Hatchet' movie yet."
Who could he be referring to? I have a couple ideas. Wanna hear them? Of course you do. Well recently Tony Todd agreed to direct "Catalytic" and he could be it, or it could even be the director of Friday the 13th part 7 and actor who portrayed Jack Kracker, John Carl Beuchler. OR It could be the first guy that popped into my head. He has been part of the 'Hatchet' family the whole way, He has worked on a lot of big movies, and you can almost always find him wearing a 'Hatchet' crew shirt and he could beat the shit out of almost anyone if he wanted to. Who is it? My guess is the man behind the ghost himself. Kane Hodder. I could be wrong on this of course, that's just my best guess.
Adam Green will be producing and most likely writing Hatchet 3. I have heard it is set to take place directly following the events of Hatchet 2. I can't wait!
